Nicole Heflin received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where she conducted research on wearable electrochemical biosensors and wireless ingestible capsules in the Gao Research Group as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) student. Nicole is currently pursuing her M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford. She is excited to be working in the Congreve Lab where she hopes to explore photon upconversion techniques for biological sensing and activation applications. In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing lacrosse, riding motorcycles, and watching horror movies.
