Kyle Frohna

Kyle earned a B.A. (Sc) in Nanoscience in 2017 at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland near where he grew up. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge UK in 2023, working with Sam Stranks on developing microscopy techniques to study the function and degradation of emerging solar cells. Kyle joined the Congreve lab as a Stanford Energy Postdoctoral Fellow in 2024. Co-supervised by Will Chueh in the Materials Science department, Kyle is developing techniques to study and improve grid-scale energy storage devices.
